Getting here

You're at one of the best-connected spots in Naples: Line 2, Line 6, regional trains and the Cumana all meet here. The exact address is in your confirmation message.

The right ticket

In the city the integrated Unico Campania ticket applies: one ticket covers metro, buses, funiculars and the Cumana within its time validity. Buy it at stations, tobacconists or via the app.

From Capodichino Airport

Alibus + Linea 2 · ~60 min

The budget route

  1. Alibus to Piazza Garibaldi The stop is outside the arrivals terminal, past car park P5. The Alibus does NOT reach Mergellina: it serves Piazza Garibaldi and the port only.
  2. Change to Line 2, towards Pozzuoli The platform is inside the main station. Get off at Mergellina.
  3. Eighty metres, one minute Come out of the monumental entrance on Corso Vittorio Emanuele: the flat is right there.
The money-saving trick: the Alibus ticket is valid for 90 minutes from first validation and lets you continue on the urban network. Validate it as you board and it also covers the metro to Mergellina — one ticket for the whole journey.

The easy route, with luggage

Fixed municipal fares apply from the airport, including luggage, surcharges and night rates. Ask the driver for the fixed fare to Mergellina BEFORE getting in and have it confirmed: you're entitled to it and it avoids any argument on arrival.

From Napoli Centrale

Linea 2 · 15 min

Five stops, no changes

Line 2 towards Pozzuoli, get off at Mergellina. The platform is inside the main station: follow the «Linea 2» signs. On arrival the flat is eighty metres away.

To the port and the ferries

Linea 6 · Mergellina → Municipio

Molo Beverello in 5 stops

Line 6 leaves from the same Mergellina station, linked internally to Line 2. Towards Municipio: Arco Mirelli, San Pasquale, Chiaia, Municipio. From Municipio station Molo Beverello is a few minutes' walk — that's where hydrofoils and ferries to Capri, Ischia, Procida and Sorrento depart.

Mind the timetable: Line 6 runs roughly every 14 minutes and closes much earlier than the others — around 9pm on weekdays, and as early as the afternoon at weekends. For evening returns, plan on a taxi or bus. Always check the day's timetable on the ANM site.

The connection almost nobody knows about

The little harbour five minutes away is one of the few ports with direct summer sailings to the Aeolian Islands: Lipari, Vulcano, Salina, Panarea, Stromboli. At weekends Ponza and Ventotene are added, plus a handful of daily runs to Ischia Porto. These are seasonal services, mostly in the afternoon, run by SNAV: book ahead. For Capri and Procida you always leave from Beverello.

Corso Vittorio Emanuele station

To Montesanto and the Campi Flegrei

On the same street as the flat there's the Cumana station of Corso Vittorio Emanuele, often overlooked by visitors. Eastbound, a single stop takes you to Montesanto: from there you're in the historic centre, at the Pignasecca market and the Spanish Quarters. Westbound you reach Fuorigrotta, the Maradona stadium, Pozzuoli and the Campi Flegrei.
